1. General Provisions
1.1 Service Provider

1.2 Definitions
- App: BookApp (Veya) mobile app for Android
- User: Any person using the App
- Client: User booking appointments via the App
- Business User: Owner or employee of a salon/business using the App to manage appointments
- Salon: Hair/beauty salon, dental office, or other business offering appointment booking
- Service: Features provided by the App
1.3 Acceptance of Terms
By using the App, you accept these Terms of Service in full. If you do not accept, do not use the App.
2. Service Description
2.1 App Features
- Book appointments with salons/businesses
- Manage bookings (view, edit, cancel)
- Receive appointment notifications
- Track loyalty points
- View booking history
- Search and browse available salons and services
2.2 Service Availability
- App is available 24/7, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed
- Provider may temporarily suspend service for maintenance or upgrades
- Not responsible for outages due to external factors (internet, device, etc.)
2.3 Service Changes
- Provider may add, change, or remove features
- May change design or user interface
- May discontinue service with 30 days prior notice
3. Registration & Account
3.1 Account Creation
- Registration required to use the App
- Provide accurate and up-to-date info (name, phone)
- Phone number is unique account identifier
- You are responsible for keeping login info secure
3.2 Account Responsibility
- You are responsible for all activity on your account
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized use
- Do not use another person's account without permission
- Do not create multiple accounts for the same person
3.3 Suspension or Deletion
- Provider may suspend/delete account for violation of terms, false info, illegal/harmful use, or inactivity over 24 months
4. App Use — Clients
4.1 Booking
- Bookings are binding after confirmation
- Salon may refuse/cancel with reason
- Client must respect booked time
- Lateness may result in cancellation
4.2 Cancellation
- Client may cancel per salon policy
- Recommended to cancel at least 24h in advance
- Frequent unjustified cancellations may result in suspension
- Salon may set its own cancellation policy
4.3 No-show
- No-shows harm salon business
- Repeated no-shows may result in loss of loyalty points, booking restrictions, or account suspension
4.4 Loyalty Points
- Points awarded per salon policy
- No cash value, not redeemable for money
- Provider may change loyalty program
- Points may expire per salon policy
- Points lost if account deleted
5. App Use — Business Users
5.1 Salon Registration
- Business user must be authorized to represent salon
- Provide accurate salon info (name, address, contact)
- Responsible for updating salon info
- Must have all required business permits
5.2 Appointment Management
- Create, edit, or cancel appointments
- Add services and set prices
- Manage working hours
- Block slots for non-working days
- Responsible for accuracy of entered data
5.3 Subscription Payment
- For the foreseeable future (approximately the next six months) the subscription will be provided free of charge.
- During this period the Provider will conduct a user survey to determine the permanent subscription price.
- The Provider expects the permanent price to be set between €5 and €10 per employee per month.
- Any change to subscription pricing will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
- Prepaid monthly
- Provider sends invoice/payment slip
- Non-payment may result in suspension
- Service auto-renews monthly unless cancelled
5.4 Subscription Cancellation
- Business user may cancel anytime
- Cancellation effective at end of current period
- Paid amounts are non-refundable
- Salon data remains visible for 30 days after cancellation
5.5 Responsibility to Clients
- Salon responsible for service quality
- Provider is not a party to salon-client contract
- Salon must honor bookings
- Salon must notify clients of changes
6. Privacy & Data Protection
6.1 Data Collection
- Clients: Name, phone, booking history, loyalty points
- Business users: Salon info, contact, services
- Technical: Firebase token, app usage time
6.2 Data Use
- Enable bookings and management
- Send appointment notifications
- Manage loyalty program
- Improve app features
- Communicate with users
6.3 Data Sharing
- Personal data of a client associated with a specific booking (name, email address and telephone number) are made visible in the App to the salon at which the appointment was booked.
- Such access is provided solely for the purpose of providing the booked service and for necessary contact regarding that appointment.
- Following completion of the booking, the salon's view in its schedule history will retain only the client's name and email address.
- Telephone numbers and other contact details are removed from the salon-visible history unless retention of additional contact information is required by law or the client has expressly consented to extended retention.
- Salons are required to obtain the client's explicit, documented consent if they wish to retain telephone numbers or other contact details beyond the appointment.
- Salons are prohibited from extracting, exporting, copying or otherwise persisting a client's telephone number from the App or the salon's schedule ledger after the appointment unless such consent has been obtained or retention is required by law.
- Unauthorized retention or misuse of client contact information may result in account sanctions and other legal remedies.
- No data sold to third parties
- Firebase (Google) used for push notifications — Google has its own privacy policy
- Data may be shared if required by law
6.4 Your Rights (GDPR)
- Access your data (download)
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data (account deletion)
- Restrict processing
- Data portability
- Object to processing

6.5 Data Retention
- Data kept while account is active
- Deleted within 30 days after account deletion
- Backups kept for 90 more days
- Some data kept longer by law (e.g. accounting)
6.6 Data Security
- SSL encryption for data transfer
- Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text
- Access to data is restricted
- Regular backups performed

7. Payments & Fees
7.1 For Clients
- App use is FREE for clients
- Clients pay salons directly (not via App)
- App does not process client payments
7.2 For Business Users
- Fee: €5-6 per employee/month
- Payment via bank transfer per invoice
- Invoices issued monthly
- Non-payment within 15 days may result in suspension
7.3 Refunds
- No refunds for paid subscriptions
- Exception: Technical issues preventing use for over 7 days
7.4 Price Changes
- Provider may change prices with 30 days notice
- Existing users keep current price for 6 months after change
8. Prohibited Conduct
- Illegal use of the App
- Disrupting App or servers
- Unauthorized system/data access
- Using bots for bookings
- Transmitting malware/viruses
- Abusing loyalty program (fake accounts, fraud)
- Harassing other users
- Creating fake reviews/ratings
- Copying/modifying/distributing App without permission
- Using user data for marketing
- Excessive bookings without intent to attend
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Ownership
- App and all elements (code, design, logo) are property of Provider
- Protected by copyright and other laws
- Users get limited license to use the App
9.2 License
- Non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal use
- No selling, renting, distributing the App
- No reverse engineering or decompiling
9.3 User Content
- Users retain ownership of their content (service descriptions, images)
- By submitting, you grant us license to use content for service delivery
- You are responsible that your content does not infringe third-party rights
10. Disclaimer
10.1 App Provided "As Is"
- No guarantee App is error-free
- No guarantee of uninterrupted availability
- No guarantee of compatibility with all devices
10.2 Limitation of Liability
- Provider not liable for damages from use/inability to use App
- Not liable for quality of salon services
- Not liable for data/profit/revenue loss
- Missed appointments due to technical issues
- Actions/omissions of salons or users
- Inaccuracies in salon info
10.3 Maximum Liability
- Provider's maximum liability is limited to subscription paid in last 12 months
10.4 Salon-Client Relationship
- App only facilitates booking
- Contract is between salon and client
- Provider not responsible for service quality, prices, or salon actions
- Disputes resolved directly with salon
11. Notices & Communication
11.1 Push Notifications
- Users may receive push notifications (confirmations, reminders)
- Notifications can be disabled in device settings
- Important notifications may be sent even if disabled (e.g. cancellations)
11.2 Email Communication
- We may send service-related emails (confirmations, terms changes)
- Marketing emails only with consent
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime
11.3 Official Notices
- Sent to registered email, via push, or in-app
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Complaints
- Send complaints to: [email protected]
- We commit to respond within 15 days
- We aim to resolve disputes out of court
12.2 Governing Law
- Croatian law applies
- Disputes resolved before competent court in Croatia
12.3 Alternative Dispute Resolution
- Before court, try out-of-court settlement
- You may contact mediation center
13. General Provisions
13.1 Changes to Terms
- Provider may change Terms anytime
- Notice of changes 30 days in advance
- Continued use means acceptance of new Terms
- If you do not accept, you may stop using the service
13.2 Termination
- Users may stop using service anytime by deleting account
- Provider may terminate if user violates Terms
13.3 Entire Agreement
- These Terms are the entire agreement between user and Provider
- Supersede all prior agreements
13.4 Severability
- If any provision is invalid, others remain in effect
13.5 Waiver
- Failure to exercise rights does not mean waiver
13.6 Transfer of Rights
- Users may not transfer rights/obligations
- Provider may transfer rights/obligations with notice
